Course Overview

 

This course is intended for the Drug Unit Supervisor, who has been promoted into or transferred into a Supervisory Position in a Drug Unit or to a Drug Task Force. It will prepare the new supervisor to organize and manage investigations involving agents as to accountability, control, stress, informant issues, and multi-agency issues. Students will address organization, financial, personnel, political issues, and problems during the course. This course will prepare new supervisors to properly and successfully conduct day-to-day investigations, which include evidence accountability, informant documentation and management, undercover planning and operations, surveillance operations, raid execution, asset forfeiture, task force management and legal and liability issues.
